CHANGE OF SCHOOL DAY
A statement explaining the changes to the arrangement of the school day which will apply during the school year 2000-2001 has been issued with this copy of the Echo. There is a return slip which should be signed by parents and returned to Form Tutors as quickly as possible. The letter will be reissued on the first day of the Autumn Term, Tuesday 5th September.

NEW INTAKE MEETING
The meeting for students who will be joining Year 8 in September and their parents takes place next Thursday, 2nd June at 7.30 pm. Thanks in advance to those CNS students who will be helping during the evening. For the first time in some years, a number of students who wished to join the school have been unable to do so. The school is fully subscribed and the appeals panel was unable to accede to the wishes of some fifteen families who were seeking a Year 8 placement at CNS.

ART EXHIBITION
The exhibition of art work by Year 13 students completing their A level Art course is on display in the Hall. Parents are cordially invited to view the exhibition this evening, Friday 16th June, at any time from 6.30 pm until 8.30 pm.

This exhibition will run concurrently with the exhibition of work commissioned from students at Norwich School of Art, made possible by a generous donation from the parents of former CNS students. The students used the main building of CNS as the starting point for their ideas and there are imaginative interpretations of aspects of the school and its activities.
SCHOOL ASSOCIATION
Details of the Fete a week tomorrow, Saturday 24th June, are printed on the back of this copy of the Echo. Please do your best to sell raffle tickets and return the stubs and money to the school.

The Association Committee is proposing to sell second-hand uniform at the new intake meeting next Thursday and, would be very grateful to receive any donations of unwanted or outgrown items. Please ensure that any donations are laundered or dry-cleaned before being offered for sale. The school office will be pleased to receive any donations during school hours until 3.45 pm on Thursday. Any items which are not sold on Thursday will be on sale at the Fete two days later on Saturday.

The Committee is also pleased to acknowledge a generous cheque from a parent who is unable to attend the Fete.

WORLD BOOK DAY VOUCHERS
Thanks to the thirty-two students who spent their World Book Day vouchers in Jarrolds, raising extra funds for more library books.

'CABARET' VIDEO
A reminder that anybody who would like a video of the show should bring £4 to the Drama Office by end of school today. A receipt will be issued and a copy will be ordered. A note will be put on the Drama board telling students when the videos will be available for collection.
