GUIDANCE DAY : 19 DECEMBER
Next Tuesday, 19 December, is the last day of the school term. Different arrangements apply for students in particular Year Groups. Students in Years 10, 11 and 12 should come into school on Tuesday for their Academic Review Meeting at the appointed time. They should wear normal school uniform. Parents are invited to accompany students : please follow the signs if you need to park your car. Students in Year 13 have study leave for the day.

Students in Years 8 and 9 should attend school as normal on Tuesday. During registration in form rooms, students will be given information about their programme for the day. They should bring training shoes with them since some of the activities take place in the Sports Hall. After registration, students will not be able to return to their form rooms or lockers for the rest of the day. The term ends for students in Years 8 and 9 at 3pm.

CHARITIES WEEK
Fund-raising stunts last week ranged from the ingenious to the extra-ordinary. Thank you to everyone whose enthusiasm made for such a positive week.

Many unusual talents (from staff as well as students) were on display, several of which have been captured for posterity thanks to Mr Sofroniou's telescopic lens! Already, with many pledges still to be honoured, we have raised over £3000 towards the Norwich Night Shelter. How much will we raise altogether?

YEAR 11 APPLICATIONS
Students in Year 11 should ensure that Ms Wind receives their completed applications for Sixth Form as soon as possible. This applies to all students, including those hoping to study at CNS.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT
The Christmas Concert took place on Wednesday to the huge enjoyment of a large audience. The varied programme featured nine separate ensembles including the school orchestra, flute group, jazz band and guitar group. Traditional pieces from Bach and Faure were complemented by modern works by Lennon and Coltrane. The Chamber Choir gave a delightful rendering of three French carols and the evening culminated in a rousing performance by the Salsa Band. Well done to all who took part and thank you to Mr Dickson and Mr Banfield, the impresarios.
