EATON ROAD
Yesterday, representatives of CNS, the School Association and local residents presented petitions about safety issues in Eaton Road to the joint Highways Committee of the City and County Councils. Mr Rix explained to Councillors that the school, parents and residents are keen to work together to make the Eaton Road area a safer place for pedestrians and cyclists.

'THE CRUCIBLE'
Captivating and emotive, the upper school production of 'The Crucible' continued the CNS tradition of outstanding drama. With impressive acting, the cast created a real sense of the history, morality and emotions at the heart of this play. Expertly directed by Mrs Baylay, the cast included Bridget Pipe-Fowler as Abigail, a demanding part which was brilliantly portrayed. Luke Jules showed his remarkable and well developed acting talent as the Reverend Parris, and Josie Shillito sensitively and skilfully engaged the audience as Elizabeth Proctor. Our thanks goes to the whole cast and crew of this unforgettable performance, and in particular to Dugald Ferguson, a former CNS student, who arrived at just two weeks notice to play John Proctor. His brilliant acting flair helped create such a memorable piece of drama. Reviewed by Edward Knapp

SPRING CONCERT
On Friday 16 March at 7.30pm, the Spring Concert is booked for the School Hall. An exciting programme is now in the final stage of rehearsal. SIMON'S SUCCESS
Well done to Simon Bradshaw who has been awarded the Frances Willenden Prize, which is given annually by the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music. The local press reported that 'Simon, a student at City of Norwich School, gained the award by gaining the highest distinction marks in Grade 8 with his keyboard playing. He now hopes to take up a scholarship at Peterhouse, Cambridge, to study medicine'
