SPURS AUCTION
The school has acquired through old boy David Tyrie, a Tottenham Hotspur shirt signed by stars of the first team and Glen Hoddle, the coach. The shirt is being auctioned for the Charities Week appeal and sealed bids should be sent to the school office, clearly marked 'Tottenham Auction', by the closing date Thursday 20 December.

END OF TERM
Term will end for students on Thursday 20 December at 2.40 pm after a Main School Assembly. There will be no afternoon lessons for Sixth Form students.

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS
The school will be closed (except for pre-booked lettings) from Monday 24 December until Friday 3 January inclusive.

SPRING TERM CALENDAR
There are a few changes to the Spring Term Calendar. Please would you amend the calendar issued at the start of the school year accordingly? The Year 12 Geography Field Trip is now scheduled from 18 to 22 February. The Year 10 Options Presentation (for parents of Year 9 students) will be held on 21 February and the Upper School production of The Boyfriend will be performed from 28 February to 2 March.

ACADEMIC REVIEW DAY
The Academic Review Day on 1 March will involve all students (Y8 to 13) in meeting with their tutor, and parents, if possible, for an individual interview at some point during the day. Students only come into school on that day for their interview. Further details will be issued next term.
JUMBLE & TABLE-TOP SALE
CNSA is organising a sale on Saturday 19 January 2002 at school. Further details overleaf or from Sarah Scott on Norwich 505720. Please do not throw away unwanted Christmas presents!

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
Please return the survey about after-school child care to the school office by Monday 17 December 2001. Sufficient interest will enable us to set up a new facility at school - the first in any local High School. Many thanks for your help.

YEAR 11 MOCKS
Timetables have been issued and Year 11 students should be able to plan their revision accordingly. Study Leave will operate throughout the fortnight from 21 January to 1 February. During this period, a study room will be provided each day between break and lunch for those who wish to use it. Otherwise, Y11 students will be on site only to take exams.

CHARITIES WEEK SUCCESSES
A huge effort by so many students ensured that Charities Week was great fun and also successful in raising money for the SOS Bus. Thank you to all who : had good ideas for stalls (counting sweet corn, sucking lemons ….); baked delicious cakes, sweets and toffee apples; pretended to be Pop Stars; cast aside their shyness in order to reveal their true natures in Man O Man and Stars in their Eyes…. Particular thanks to the Sixth Form Committee and to Mr Uddin and Mr Carr for organising events. Please pay in your sponsorship money as soon as possible. Do not delay!

CNSU DINNER
Over 100 former students attended a most enjoyable dinner last Friday in the School Hall.
