CHRISTMAS CONCERT
Our thanks to all the students, Mr Dickson, Dr Ranyard and Mr Sofroniou for the excellent concert last Thursday evening. Some tremendous performances - including by the School Choir, the Jazz Band and the two orchestras - made for a most uplifting evening that was rounded off in great style with the Crown Imperial Coronation March by Walton.

UNIFORM
We are keen that all students contribute to the positive image of CNS. Students in Main School are expected to wear correct uniform and to bring in an explanatory note from home if a particular item is missing. Next term, as previously, we will be asking students who arrive incorrectly dressed and without any explanation to return home to correct the irregularity. Thank you for your co-operation with this.

FAREWELL TO STAFF
At the end of this term we are saying farewell to Mr Bushnell, Mr Checketts, Mr Grainger, Miss Mills and Mrs Margaret Smith. We wish all departing colleagues well in the future and thank them for their valuable contributions to the success of CNS. Form 11Sm would like to say thank you to Mrs M Smith for her help, love and support over the past four years and wish her all the best in her retirement. They will miss her dearly.

NEW TERM
Students will return to school on Monday 7 January when we will welcome some new members of staff: Mrs Dallas will join us as the Curriculum Area Manager for Technology; Miss Chatting and Mr Billings join the Maths team alongside Mr Mead and Dr Thurling; Miss Pallas will join us as a Learning Support Assistant.
