Further details over.

LIBRARY
Could all books be returned next week for the end of term stock take, please?

FAIR TRADE EXHIBITION
The exhibition in the display cases (opposite the phone) is to draw the attention of staff and students to Fair Trade products. It is a part of the school's activities to celebrate "Fair Trade Fortnight". It was assembled by Sixth Form members of the Fair Trade Group. The group meets every Tuesday at 12.45 pm in Room 68. All students are welcome.

YEAR 11 PARENTS
Year 11 Parents are invited to meet individual subject teachers on Thursday 21 March from 5.30pm until 7.30pm. A letter about this has already been sent home by Ms Bushell and students should be making appointments with teachers. With six school weeks to go until the beginning of final GCSE examinations, the evening provides an opportunity for parents to ascertain areas of relative strength and weakness at this important time. CNS revision materials have been distributed and students should be planning their revision programmes for the remaining weeks. In addition, we hope that some published revision materials will be available for purchase at the parents' evening.
TUCKSHOP MANAGER
Mrs Bird will be retiring at the end of this term and we are looking for someone to take on this role. The post entails banking, bookwork, ordering confectionery, supervising students in the shop and keeping the counters stocked up. The post entails 11.25 hours per week, the core hours being 12md to 1.15pm each day . If you are interested in this post, please ring Mrs Seddon at school.

EASTER HOLIDAYS
School closes for the Easter break after school at 2.45pm next Friday 22 March 2002. Monday 8 April is a Staff Development Day. School resumes on Tuesday 9 April at 8.30pm. During the holidays, the school office will be open from 8.30pm until 4pm except on 2 and 3 April when the office will be closed.

KEY STAGE FOUR COURSES
Early next week, Year 9 students will be given their Options Forms on which choices for Key Stage Four need to be recorded. Information booklets about these courses and about the choices that need to be made were issued to students and parents three weeks ago. Forms need to be returned to Tutors by Monday 15 April 2002 at the latest.

YEAR 9 PARENTS
The Year 9 Parents' evening on Thursday 11 April will give parents the opportunity to speak to individual teachers about possibilities for next year, as well as about current progress. Further details about the Parents' evening will be distributed by Mr Sofroniou shortly.
