KASIA KURKOWSKA
On Tuesday morning we received the very sad news that Kasia, a student in 8Gr, had died. For some time, Kasia had been fighting very bravely against her illness. During her two terms at CNS she had made many friends amongst both students and staff and our thoughts are with her family as they come to terms with their loss.

CONGRATULATIONS
Well done to David Wilson, 11Sp who won the Norfolk Schools' Golf Championship at King's Lynn and to Laura Jennings 8Kr who collected the top girls' prize in the competition.

MOUSEMAT COMPETITION
Due to the exceptional standards of entry for the LJ Mousemat competition, it has been decided to shortlist 13 students to go forward to the next round of the competition. The students will attend a master class with a Graphic Designer on Thursday 18 and 25 April and 2 May 3 - 4.30pm where they will be taught how to produce a final electronic outcome. This will then be judged for the final winner of the digital camera.

Congratulations to the finalists who are: John Revell 9Bz, Matthew Woodall 9Bz, Sarah Spooner 9Sd, Khalid Hussin 9Bz, Chloe Horine 9Sd, Eleanor Jordan 9Mk, Sam Warns 10Fn, Kerry Naylor 9Bc, Jessica Fullwood-Thomas 9Rd, David Simpson 9Jo, Hannah Wells 10St, Claire Rymarz 8Kr, Genevieve Ranger 9Jo. Thank you to all those who entered.

WELCOME DONATION
Thanks to Mr Peter Ducker for donating three computers and a printer to the school. These computers will prove extremely useful in developing students' skills, knowledge and understanding of computer programming.
CYAN: YOUNG ENTERPRISE AT CNS
Lack of space in our last issue prevented credit being given to all those involved behind the scenes in Room 25 throughout the year.

PERIPATETIC MUSIC LESSONS
All lessons have recommenced. Timetables are available within the Music Dept. Alternatively, they can be accessed via the school intranet or the website in the normal way. Invoices for this term's tuition will follow shortly.

SPONSORSHIP FOR CHERYL
Cheryl Locke, a profoundly deaf ex-pupil of CNS, will be making a tandem parachute jump to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation in the very near future. Cheryl was inspired to do this by watching her cousin who has a serious heart condition. Any offers of sponsorship or donations can be made to Mrs Locke on 813432 or on forms in the main office.

CURRICULUM BULLETINS
Information for students in both Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four about courses this term are being distributed this week. Please contact your Year Tutor if you do not receive a copy.

PARK TROPHY
The Year 8 football team have had a highly successful season with some notable victories in the Park Trophy. They won against Hellesdon (3-0), Notre Dame (6-5), Smithdon (2-1) to reach the semi final where an exciting game resulted in a 4-2 victory for Reepham. Well done to the team and to coach Gavin Coe, 11Bl.
