SPRING CONCERT
The Spring Concert will take place in the Main Hall on Thursday 10 April. The Jazz Band, Orchestras, Choir, Guitar Group and Band will all be playing. With additional items from GCSE and A level students it promises to be a varied evening's musical entertainment. You can buy programmes which serve as tickets for £3 from Dr Ranyard or Miss Ward in the Music Department. We would like a big audience, so please come and offer your support to all the young musicians involved.

COLOURFUL CLOWNS
On Monday, Lucy Underwood VIBr, Claire Evans VIBn, Rosie Dudley VIHf and Chloe Brett VIBy performed an original play to seventy children at Little Melton First School. The play" Colourful Clowns' was devised as a Theatre-in-Education project to accompany lessons on social skills and health awareness. The piece is the girls' practical component for the AS Theatre Studies course. Well done!

FREE SCHOOL MEALS
From 6 April, those who are in receipt of Income Support, Income-Based Job Seekers Allowance or Child Tax Credit (income up to £13,230), will be eligible for free school meals. Please ask at the school office for details or an application form.

NCFC STUDY CENTRE
Well done to students who participated so enthusiastically in the programme at Norwich City FC.

MUSIC SUCCESS
Members of the CNS percussion group have performed with great success recently. Martin Scheuregger gained an outstanding certificate (the highest level possible) at the Norfolk County Music Festival. Martin also took a Rock School Exam last weekend along with Sam Thompson, Will Stewart and Jack Jeffery. If you want to hear the percussion ensemble perform they will be at The Central Area Middle Schools Concert on 3 April and The Music Service Concert on 21 May. Our thanks to Mr Chopping, our percussion teacher, for all his hard work.
YOUNG ENTERPRISE
Recently, Junk, the CNS Young Enterprise Company competed in the Norwich area final at the Assembly Rooms. They gave a presentation on their business, which sells recycled stationery and can collection units, to an audience of over a hundred including local businesspeople and Bryan Gunn, Sheriff of Norwich.

COMMUNITY POLICING
Congratulations to Inemesit Essien VIBa, and Stacey Palmer VIOb, who represented CNS at the launch of the Police Diversity Strategy at Police Headquarters on 28 March. Their performance on the panel was impressive, both giving interesting and coherent answers and the only panel members to receive a spontaneous round of applause! They were a credit to the school.

LOST PROPERTY
There are many items awaiting collection. Please ask at the office. Don't assume that possessions are lost!

WESTMINSTER VISIT
Three of our Girl Guiding students - Catherine Davies lORd, Kajal Narbard 9Ph and Natasha Vaughan Williams 9Ph - have been invited by the Secretary of State for Education to visit Westminster this week as part of the Take our Daughters to Work scheme.
