STAFF TRAINING
Tomorrow, Friday, 19th March, is a staff training day and is a holiday for all students. School resumes at 8.45 am next Monday, 22nd March.

END OF TERM
Term ends at 2.20 pm on Friday of next week, 26th March. Morning lessons will be as normal, there will be a shortened period 5 and period 6 will be cancelled.

LEAVING DATES
Lessons will finish for Year 11 after school on Friday 14th May and for Year 13 on Friday 28th May. Oral examinations for Year 11 have been arranged for the week beginning 17th May and major GCSE exams will take place the following week. We intend to arrange after-school supervised revision classes for Year 11 next term. These will be voluntary and will be arranged on two days of each week until 14th May. Detailed arrangements will be published next week.

CHARITIES WEEK
We've made it! As of yesterday, we have banked £4,103, exceeding our target of £4,000. But.. we know that there is still quite a lot of sponsorship money to hand in, so please ensure that it is with the Finance Office by next Friday, 26th March, the last day of term, when the account will be closed.

FAIRWAY FAYRE
Don't forget the Fairway Fayre this Saturday, 20th March, from 10.00 am until 3.00 pm at Fairway First and Middle Schools. The details were published in last week's Echo.
PARENT GOVERNOR ELECTIONS
A letter giving details of the elections has been issued to all students to take home to parents today. The closing date for receipt of nominations for the vacancies is Friday 26th March.

FRENCH EXCHANGE
A party of 23 CNS students, led by Mr Stone, Miss Wind and Mr A. Fletcher, will be leaving early tomorrow morning to visit our exchange school in Pierrelatte, France, CES Lis Isclo d'Or. The group will be in France for ten days, with students staying with host families and will enjoy a varied programme of activities.

CONCERT
At 7.30 pm this Saturday, 20th March, three bands, Monkey Monkey, Utopia and Pulse, will be performing in the Barn. The concert has been arranged by Andrew Fitzgerald of Year 11 and all proceeds will go to the Charities Week fund. Tickets, price £1, must be paid for in advance from Andrew: there will be no tickets on sale at the door.

STUDENTS
Robert Neave (Y12), Jennie Halstead (Y13) and Jodie Barker (Y11) are performing in an adaptation of Terry Pratchett's 'Maskerade' at Long Stratton High School on April 7th-10th. Phone 01508 531484 for tickets, price £5 for students. And congratulations to Max Newman (Y8), 3rd in the masters section of the East Anglian Yo-Yo championship.
JUMBLE SALE
The Jumble Sale on 6th March made a profit of £252: thanks to all who supported the Sale.
